Has 2021 been a disappointing year for game development so far?

I haven't really seen any quality games being released.

    There is absolutely nothing I'm looking forward to or have an interest in except the next God of War and the last DLC for Outer Worlds. Maybe a few smaller PC games. I'm playing a lot of older games at the moment, stuff I missed for one reason or another.

    Yes.  It's been very disappointing.  Take for example 'Cyberpunk 2077': It was supposed to be a great game and it came out half finished.
