What causes a vinyl record to do this? 45RMP?

Hey y’all, I just received a Disney 1950 45 vinyl record. It plays great until it gets to the middle of the song (this happens on BOTH SIDES AT THE SAME TIME) and then it makes a noise (like a dying out screech) and then it completely stops spinning. I’m new to record collection so any tips are appreciated. I tried playing it on both 78 and 45 (78 is the only speed that works)

Let me make a guess- you have some cheap Crosley record player? That is a known common bug with those cheap Crosleys.

You cannot play both sides of a record at the same time.  You might need a new record player or a new needle.

Have you tried it on a different record-player to see if it does the same ?
