Who has more rights an 18 year old or 21 year old?

Update:

Ok, Nekkid, define right vs privilege.

Update 2:

The ability to be raped in porn and vote aren't rights.

Update 3:

Wrong. You can be denied the right to vote if you are underage or a felon.

Why is it so wrong for you to admit the facts?

Update 4:

You need to prove your claim at 18 and 21 enjoy the same rights.

Update 5:

You really are ignorant of the new laws aren't you? The age to buy firearms was raised to 21 only a few years ago. And those under the magical 18 enjoy the right to sex, quitting school, and driving, and the most important of all being REWARDED IN A HOTEL WHEN THEY VANDALISE OR DO ANYTHING ELSE, EVEN MURDER!

Update 6:

If you really believe a HS senior doesn't need their parents permission you are so wrong. I was in HS at 19, and 18 AND NEEDED A PERMISSION SLIP SIGNED BEFORE GOING ON TRIPS. AND I COULD NOT CHECK MYSELF OUT OF SCHOOL WITHOUT PERMISSION. NONE OF THAT APPLIES AT 21 AS THEY ARE LEGALLY TOO OLD TO BE IN HS.

Update 7:

17 year olds also can join the military, yet I know you love seeing them rewarded and babied and pampered when they kill someone.

Update 8:

Being raped in porn by adults is not a right, you sick pedo. Neither is voting. It's a privilege.

Update 9:

If I ever caught you with porn with someone under 21 in it I would beat the bloody hell out of you and if I was the president this sickness would be outlawed the second I took office.

A 21 year old has more rights.

As things stand today both an 18 year old and a 21 year old can get a drivers license and vote.

But a 21 year old can also legally purchase alcohol, cigarette, gamble, purchase a gun and purchase marijuana where it is legal.

Technically speaking, they have the same rights. 21 year olds have more privileges..

18 and 21 have the same rights.

    21 has more PRIVILEGES.    A privilege isn't a "right".

The ability to purchase alcohol, tobacco or marijuana are not "rights".

Rights are something that can't be denied to you without just cause.  You can't be denied the right to vote if you are a legal adult citizen.

A cashier or bartender can deny to sell you alcohol, even if you are 21...  They can deny it just because they don't want to sell to you.

People under 18 don't have rights.

Felons chose to relenquish rights when they commit felonies.

There is no "right" to buy alcohol, tobacco or marijuana.

18 and 21 can vote, buy rifles, own firearms, enlist in the military, sign contracts, apply for credit.   Neither needs permission from their parents to do anything.

Nothing granted to a 21 yr old is a right, merely a privilege.

    21 by a country mile.

Once you hit that milestone, you can legally drink, buy tobacco, buy weed, buy any kind of firearm, enter a casino and gamble there, rent a car, check into a hotel, adopt a child, and the list goes on and on.

The only "rights" gained at 18 is being able to be legally be raped by adults in porn and vote.

At 21 you have the right to drink (legally).

That's at least 1 for the 21 age group that the 18 y/o group doesn't have.
