    Starting with x = -2, substitute this into the equation and solve for y:

    8y - 32(-2) = -64

    8y + 64 = -64

    8y = -64 - 64

    8y = -128

    y = -128/8

    y = -16

    Therefore, when x = -2, y = -16.

    This can also be written as an ordered pair: (-2,-16)

    Substitute each x into the equation to find its corresponding y, and plot the graph.

    At the y-intercept, x = 0 so substitute this into 8y - 32x = -64, then solve for y:

    8y - 32(0) = -64

    8y = -64

    y = -64/8

    y = -8

    So the y-intercept is -8
