Do I need to update my UC application once I recieve my "In Progress" grades?

I am a senior in high school and I want to know if I have to update my UC application now that I have received my 1st-semester grades?

Not usually. UC will request an update if they want to perform a Supplemental Review (this may depend on your major). 

Otherwise, you need only update your application if you change schools, add or drop a course, or fail to earn a C or better in a course after you submit your application.

i'd not do that unless they show significant improvement -- or unless asked by a particular campus
