The three parts of an essay are:

Introduction. (also called abstract)

Body.

Conclusion.

The introduction is the paragraph where you tell the reader what the essay is about.

The body is where you make a detailed and logical account of the topic you are writing about.

The conclusion is like a reflection of the introduction. It basically is a summary of what you wrote about, and what you hope the reader gained from it.
