All that he can do in his role is to make the tools available for us, the populace of the USA to work together to end it, eventually. And it won't be quick, or even final. The virus will be around for a very long time, and without cooperation of the people the disease that the virus causes will also be around for a long time. For now, take all precautions so that you can protect your life and the lives of those around you, AND the lives of people you will never meet. It really is up to us, ultimately.

He is not a god. He can only help manage the areas hit hardest with the help they need. All pandemics end and so will this one.

No, too many pro-disease morons that don't vaccinate, use masks, or social distance

Of course not. First, because he can't. Second and more important, the pandemic is favorable to the government micro-managing our lives.
In the 1957 pandemic, even when 25% of the people were home sick, there were no mask mandates, curfews, or shelter-in-place orders. It was a flu, but similar to covid in that children and younger people virtually never died from it, but only the elderly and immune-compromised. I'm old enough to remember.
In the 1950s, there were no efforts to micro-manage our lives!

Only time can do that, along with people listening to CDC guidelines!
