No. Children can certainly get it, though they are doing so at lower rates and mostly have mild, even symptom-free cases.
But some children have died of it.

Children who have Covid are just 'more likely to be completely symptom free' .. but they could still infect others.

Covid is different in different areas. This is the reason it affects people of different ages in all regions.

People of any age can be infected by Covid-19, including children. However, what we've seen across the world is that children are likely to experience milder symptoms than even younger adults, and are less likely to die.
The reason for this is because children have a strong innate response. This is the part of the immune system that is 'general' and swings into action quickly. As people age, and they are exposed to different viruses, their innate system weakens and their adaptive system becomes more specialised. This is the part of the immune system that 'remembers' previous viruses.
Since children's and adults' adaptive immune systems haven't seen Covid-19 before, the strength of their innate response becomes important, and kids have an advantage.

Kids get it too, they are just unlikely to spread it to adults in public with them being much lower down so the masks are not necessary unless they are teenagers who would be as tall as adults. The schools are still closing, didn't you notice that?
