Anyone who goes to hell does so because they didn't believe in Christ and chose not to accept His love and let Him into their lives, yes?

In Christian mythology, yes.
In reality, there is no hell or gods or any of that magical horseshit.

And that is a fantastic example of why the Christian God is the most objectively evil being that could ever exist.

People who die in a state of unrepented mortal sin go to hell, while those who instead die in a state of sanctifying grace go to either purgatory or heaven. Our Lady of Fatima has told us that upon dying, most people go to purgatory, the second-most go to hell and very few go directly to heaven. She told us people who go to purgatory spend three to four decades there on average, and she told us more people go to hell due to sins of the flesh than for any other reason.

There was a literal Hell during the Spanish Inquisition. Unbelievers were tortured without mercy. Nowadays, in America, being threatened with Hell by fundamentalist bible thumpers is about as bad as it gets. The tactic is effective with cowardly people but not with brave people.

The person Jesus described as being in Hell was apparently there for the crime of being rich. Maybe he forgot to mention that Lazarus had accepted Him as his personal savior, while the rich man had not?

Have you confirmed your way? Are you sure you are on the path of Christ?
There is a difference between belief and faith. Are you speaking lie to yourself or others?
