Is Disneyland too busy in the summer?

Okay, so I'm planning on going to LA during 4th of July weekend for Anime Expo. I'm considering that since I'll be in the area, I might as well go to Disneyland too. But I've never been there during the summer. Only when they have Halloween set up. I know that if I was going with a group, it would be a no brain on not going. But since I'll be by myself  will I be okay? Or is it just too busy?

Yes, summer is very busy.  Holidays are exceptionally busy.  The 4th of July period is one of the busiest times.  Whether it's too busy for you is totally up to you.

First it needs to open up.  Yes it is busy all summer long normally.
