Yes, because they are a form of spiritual oppression to spirit-sensetive individuals.

I fail to see any connection between mask mandates for all and religious persecution. What am I missing?
Because we have all sinned against a perfectly holy and righteous God, we all deserve eternal separation from God in hell (Rom. 6:23). However, God loves us so much that He sent His only Son Jesus to die on the cross as our Substitute so we don't have to go to hell. Christ died for our sins, was buried, and rose from the grave three days later (1 Cor. 15:3-4). He gives eternal life freely to anyone who simply believes in Him for it. No one can be saved by doing good works. Salvation is by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone (Eph. 2:8-9).
"Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life" (John 6:47).

Well! If you give yourself so much trouble, postpone it until Carnival day, how close are we?

If the mandate to wear masks to hamper spread of Covid-19 was ONLY against religious people, then yes, it would be. But the whole world is being urged to wear masks in public! Buddhists, atheists, Catholics, Protestants, Shintoists, bus drivers, school-teachers... What kind of lunacy would cause a religious person to think they were being persecuted by being urged to wear a mask, just as everyone else is?

someone who thinks like this lives in a very small bubble where they think the world is out to get them

Religious persecution is something that happens to a particular religion because of their beliefs.
The mask mandates are targeting EVERYONE no matter what their religious belief.
One has NOTHING to do with the other.
