Why do people assume someone is having an emotional response based on written text?

People accuse you of whining, having a hissy fit, or even yelling, based only on your word content. When people type, they are actually listless and are more calm, because they're not on the spot. It's not like they're actually screaming every word as they type. Is this just a tactic on their part?

It is usually different for each.

A text you do not see their emotion.

because if that person is typing in block caps, that's how it appears as if they're screaming or shouting or having a hissy fit as you put, a typical snowflake.
