You DO realize that Kaepernick doesn't WANT to play, right? Seattle tried to break the blackball a year or two ago, and all Kap had to do was promise not to bring more controversy.

Yes. Krapernick is an overpriced never-quite-was.

1) Krappernick wasn't on the Denver roster so it's a moot point.
2) Krappernick might be able to beat out a couple of third stringers on his ability. But, given his age and salary demands no team is going to sign him.
3) The NFL is bending over backward to be as PC as possible right now,

You DO realize that Kaepernick doesn't WANT to play, right? Seattle tried to break the blackball a year or two ago, and all Kap had to do was promise not to bring more controversy. He refused. Because ultimately, he's a high-end backup as an NFL QB AT BEST. And even then only in systems highly tailored to his play style. He makes MORE MONEY as Nike's 'woke spokesman' than he would as a backup QB. And it takes less effort.
He could have played in the AAFL and XFL, but turned them down. Playing would have meant people could actually see how much his skills have or have not atrophied. So to make sure he didn't have to play, he demanded a contract many times higher than either league could afford.

Kaep wouldn't have cleared COVID protocols in time. They had to play someone already in house for that reason.

Question for you: Do you understand that Kaepernick COULDN'T play for the Broncos on Sunday due to isolation requirements when joining a team? You are trying to compare him to a guy that had to fill in because there was no roster QB. A man who is on the PRACTICE SQUAD FOR A MONTH at WR, having originally been cut. Is Kaepernick better? Who knows, the man hasn't played for years now. If he is better then it is because that is the position he played and he kept at it. However they couldn't have brought him in in time anyway so it is a moot point.

Better than Kaepernick...IDK. And to be quite honest, IDC. Even if the Broncos got Kaepernick they were not beating New Orleans.
