If the coronavirus vaccine is ready in a few weeks why can’t the whole world get it right away?
Why are they only letting certain groups get it at first instead of letting everybody get it?

They are continuously manufacturing it so we have to take our turn. They can't make billions at the same time can they?

There are only like a couple hundred million available from each company. I think Johnson and Johnson has 100 million in stock and ready to go. Another 100 million by the end of this year. It hopes to have about 600 million by the end of 2021.
The vaccine by moderna and Pfizer requires 2 doses to be 90+% effective so that halves the number of people getting it when it’s ready for emergency use.

Distribution problems/manufacturing rate/storage issue at extremely low temperatures/organising facilities.
