What will it take for the Detroit Lions to get a winning record ?

Firing the Head Coach and General Manager are not the answer.

Plain and simple it is obvious the Fords do not know how to pick someone to run their operations. They do not seem to beinterfering in the operation.Just simply unable to hire the right guy. That is the first step in getting a successful team and lets face it they haven't been that way in awhile

Owners. The Ford family is the equivalent of a football death cult.

The Lions haven’t been champions of anything outside the basement since the Ford family took over in 1960.

In that entire span of sixty years, the Lions have exactly 1 playoff win, in 1991 on the back of Barry Sanders.

They have the same problem the Cowboys do. Bad ownership.

They need a better quarterback. Stafford has proven that he cannot do what it takes to win consistently. Draft a quarterback like Patrick Mahomes, and they are going to win.
