Culture of Indonesia? Attitude towards environment? (Pollution, deforestation, species conservation, & etc.)?

Hello! I’m currently during a project on the culture of Indonesia. Could someone help me? Preferably someone who has lived there for at least a year... Could you please speak about the attitude towards the environment there? For example: what are the people of Indonesia doing to prevent further pollution and deforestation?
