Why did this guy that dumped me & said he has no problem with us staying friends remove me from LinkedIn? ?

He has over 500 connections, we don’t really interact on it, so why remove me? I am anonymous on LinkedIn so people can’t see when I check their profile and I can’t see when people check mine. Why remove me when it was HIS idea for us to remain friends
