are AA batteries stronger than AAA batteries?

Well I am not really sure, but it is for certain that they are much more chewy and taste like crap.

Its what the batteries run on that makes them stronger. The best that I've found is the lithium kind.

Being larger, AA batteries have more capacity, but still the same voltage.
A device only takes a certain amount of current so would run longer on AA over AAA.

No. AA batteries are just physically larger so can hold more charge.
If both batteries have the same chemistry and are from the same manufacturer then they will both deliver not only the same voltage but the same current. The AAA will just run out of energy much sooner than the AA.

No, AAs are not "stronger", than AAAs,
but they can deliver more energy to a load.
The distinction may be difficult to understand,
but it is both important and true.

BOTH have the same voltage, aka potential to supply current at a given rate.
As a general rule, the physically larger AA can store more total power than a AAA.
