Why were there a mere 20 conflicts in the Middle East before the creation of Israel and a whopping 75 after?

Update:

In the same time period morons

Update 2:

That's a conflict a year as opposed to 1 every 3 years

Update 3:

Most of the pre-48 conflicts were started by the British too

Update 4:

@SPK. I said Israel not Palestine

Conflicts are not only in the Middle East.

Today all war conflicts and civil unrest involve Muslims.

Muslim Overpopulation is #1 problem of the Planet Earth.

There weren’t, Muslims have been fighting each other for centuries, you might need to look at muslim conflicts around the world in 2020, not Israel just Muslims fighting anyone and everyone. Syria, Yemen, etc

    Look at this report, https://www.worldwatchmonitor.org/coe/most-of-toda...

But as Iranian shills are not interested in the truth, far more important is anti semitism and posting lies and  propaganda, innit?

Defending their country against people who had vowed to destroy it.

Edit...@ Anonymous, you didn't mention Palestine, neither did I, my answer stands.

There were hundreds of conflicts in that area long before the creation of modern Israel. The strategic region straddles the fault-lines of empires, culture and religion.

Why has there been an upsurge in conflicts since the creation of Israel? The Palestinians were not happy to be thrown out of their ancestral homes by the nascent Zionist state. Remember, zionist terrorists bombed the UK out of its UN mandate, long before any responsible decolonisation process could take place. Then the USA and Russia used the region to support their cold war proxies in causing even more trouble; a process which continues today.

History didn’t begin in 1900, you plank!

1900-1948 is not the same length of time as 1948-2020. 🔔🔚

Small conflicts over a century ago are much more likely to be forgotten than more recent ones. With modern weaponry, small conflicts might still involve serious loss of life. And yes, the displacement of Palestinians and intransigence of the Israeli government has led to conflict.
