If Larry Bird were to play in today's generation in his prime would he be completely ignored because he's white ?
Even though he out played guys like Dr. J and Michael Jordan every single time he went against them just about and both of those guys were the LeBron James of the eighties, would he never get a chance to show what he could do against Lebron, because he'd go undratfted? Because he's white would they be automatically be concerned he wouldn't be quick enough to guard or whatever, so they just wouldn't give him a chance period no matter how well he did in college?

That's what many people said when Bird was in college, that he would be too slow to compete against the more athletic professional players. He just went out and proved them wrong. He would absolutely do that again, in today's NBA.
