I forgot to change the cold water for defrost turkey for 1 hour is it still ok to cook?

Changing the water does help with defrosting,but it isn't really a problem.Change it now,if necessary to defrost,and cook as usual.

As long as its rinsed well and patted dry, it should be fine to cook.

Yea I used the same cold water to defrost it and didnt hurt nothing. But hopefully you got the wrapper on it yet

Yes, you don't "need" to change the water... it just helps it defrost faster. go ahead and cook it if has defrosted.

Defrosting a frozen turkey should be done over Running cold water. But you should still be fine.
