it's not easy telling someones height on screen. imagine meeting Danny Devito, sure you can tell he's short on screen. he's 4'10 so imagine the shock in real life

The same way Tom Cruise is made to look taller than his height which is 5' 7" as well. But if you dig a little deeper you will see he is a full 6 feet tall.

I'm guessing that all the other actors on that film were shorter than him. I could be wrong.

Just had a look at the 3 other main characters and Gary Sinese was the only one taller and only by about an inch. Can't remember if they were noticeably different sizes in that movie.
