Itching in this particular area is probably yeast (Candida) infection.

Topical Clotrimazole cream three times a day will help. Recommend in addition Nystatin oral drops . One cc swish and swallow with food for a week. Spouse and children will need to take the Nystatin.

The spores spread like dust particles and can be inhaled or swallowed. Bathrooms need to be sprayed with Dettol at least twice a day. Common areas and bedrooms need to be sprayed too. Towels need to be washed daily in 90 degree water temperature and the same for the underwear

kinda depends on what is causing it. Diluted vinegar may be helpful, the vagina should be slightly acidic
