Yes it is. Be sure to have your own watermark stamped on the film and give it copyright protection, if you haven't already done so.

"Safe"? Safe from what? You already own the copyright of your own creations, so that's not an issue. Putting on a watermark (openly or metatagged) will help you find violators and sue them, if that's your gig.

Uploading something in no way endangers your PC. You can not be attacked or hacked through an upload. It only send information out from your computer. For someone to hack you they have to sent information into your computer (download.)

What do YOU mean by "safe"?
If you upload anything to YouTube you are at risk that someone will download your movie, if that's what you're asking.
SOME people MAY even take snippets from your movie and upload it as their own, or post it on other websites.
