Trump said that "the ONLY way we are going to lose this election , is if it is RIGGED!"  ..does that pretty much mean "Civil War II" is on?

Update:

he pretty much is saying that IF he loses ...it is RIGGED and he will contest the election...which means riots and protests every major city? and if he wins,,,same will happen? why think so or not? when will it end? why?

Trump is already trying to suppress voting by his lawsuits against the mail-in ballots in some of the states.  Trump will contest every election result in states where he loses. One of the reasons he pushed for Coney Barrett's appointment to the Supreme Court is that he expects her to vote in his favour when these lawsuits are heard by the Supreme Court. The same thing can be said about Bret Kavanaugh if you read his ruling on one of the lawsuits.    The best thing that could happen is if Trump were to lose by such a large margin that it would be pointless to contest the election results.

That’s how his most fervent supporters will see it.

In a sense, WWIII is already on.  It is not the old-fashioned war; it's what they call a "fourth generation war."  There are various non-government organizations involved, the difference between civilians and combatants is blurred, and unconventional methods are used.  Doesn't that sound like what is happening right now in the USA?

It would be about legal proceedings. He has prepared a battle field in the Court.

US elections are always rigged. Look at the Kerry/ Bush one. Kerry clearly won.

Trump likes to plant "seeds of doubt" called "gaslighting. And he says it often to make sure that seed of doubt is planted.  Think about it, he feels he will lose, and he very well, might lose. States are acutely careful because of Trump's rhetoric, to make sure votes are legitimate. No Governor wants Trump's wrath.

He said the same thing four years ago.  Bad loser, bad liar.  Andrew Jackson lost a four way election to John Quincy Adams and spent four years grouching about a "corrupt bargain", so he got elected and JQA was a one termer.

  • Funny he should say that because the only way he can win it is if it's rigged, projectionism is a big thing in modern right-wing circles

He sure took a long time for him to notice that countries were hacking into the USA.
