Anon users don’t have an apparent profile of their own, because, they’re... anonymous.

IDK why exactly. But this is why the anon feature can be quite annoying. You can’t block people who give offensive answers and troll.

You shouldn't be allowed to block anybody.  What needs to be blocked are all of Yahoo's so-called "news" articles, which are nothing more than college dorm, influencer-news op-ed/blog pieces masquerading as real journalism.

Because they are Anonymous. If you can't see their YA identity, they can't be blocked. Yahoo didn't program the Block function to work with the Anon function.

    .

To suggest the Block function be added even when the Anon feature is used, you may post in the feedback forum here https://yahoo.uservoice.com/forums/924010  That's the place that someone representing Yahoo will see it, and may take action if it's determined to be of benefit to the community (at low cost to Verizon Media).

Because Yahoo doesn't want to lose the serial pests here, who create 50% of the message traffic......that's why.

It isn't possible to block anonymous users. That is not a function of Yahoo Answers.
