If I drink wine will it hydrate me?

Say if I'm dehydrated will wine help to hydrate me?

    In real wine or alcohol, drinks are great dehydrators. While taking a wine,

     you should take for at least a one-to-one ratio with water. Remember,

     nothing is more beneficial than water to maintain your body hydrated.

    Technically, no. Alcohol will dehydrate you. 

    Alcohol is a diuretic which causes 

    your body to remove fluids from your blood 

    in an effort to remove the alcohol from your system. 

    That is why it is best to have wine 

    on the rocks and/or with a glass of water 

    every now & then, during the course of high consumption.

    They drank wine in europe when the water was bad. Technically yes. Medically no.

    I've been drunk off 4 bottles of wine, and did not need water until the next morning.

    Try a glass of water between any alcoholic beverage.Alcohol will dehydrate you.That's what a hangover is.Alcohol also LOWERS Blood sugar . Make sure to eat carbs with alcohol.Don't count the carbs in your total daily count.They work the wrong way.
