hdmi theory?

can i interlace 4k. so instead of having 4000p i'll have 4000i

    4k isn't 4000p, it's 2160p. It's named 4k because it's 3840x2160, and 3840 is close enough to 4000 for Marketing to call it 4K. 

    And there's no point to interlacing on modern displays, it was only around because it was an easy way for CRTs to increase their vertical resolution.

    It's most likely upscaled.
