How come we never run out of oxygen, with so many cars driving around and using it as fuel?

Have you ever heard of photosynthesis??

Be kind to things with green leaves or green needles.

    Also, oxygen is not fuel.

    It's oxidizer.

While I don't 'run out of oxygen', I am one of many people who actually suffer around cars (busy roads etc) and have a lot of trouble breathing due to the car fumes. Govt's have known about this aspect for DECADES, but have done nothing about it because there is a lot of money with fuel etc.

There's these crazy things called plants.

The reason is the same as why we never run out of Carbon Dioxide with so many plants using it to produce oxygen.

The trees never stopped working.  And over the millions of years the trees have been making oxygen for us to breathe, the cars have only been around for about 120 years.

You ARE aware that oxygen isn't the fuel, right?

There is lots of it in the atmosphere, and oceans are producing more every day.

50-80% of O2 comes from the oceans (plankton) and trees provide the rest. The atmosphere only has 21% O2.
