Why do Abrahamic religions love poverty culture so much?
Protestant culture i admit has helped more interms of work culture.
But devotion cultures such as Catholics or Sunni muslims usually love poverty cultures for some reason, no driving force, just focus on praying and doing these things to get to heaven. Not focusing on getting society in better shape.

Thats because its a culture run on deceit. Vote for me and no world hunger. Problem is once you get that guy into government head figure, then there is no turning back. Full power like that is easy to corrupt. Its a reason why communist countries have the numbers of "100 millions dead" for that reason
True but what are you working for? Thats the question that needs to be said

Catholics rightly believe that God will provide, out of his supernaturally abundant supply, because he loves us and wants all the best for us. Those who claim to believe in faith alone plus the Bible alone seem to have much more difficulty with that concept. BTW ... after the Fall of the Roman Empire, the Catholic Church successfully rebuilt modern western civilization, in the image of Heaven. It wasn't until the Protestant Revolt and the French Revolution that things inevitably began to go south.

A person can be less attached to the vanities of this world by reciting the rosary every day with care and sincerity.

God is not a God of poverty but abundance. Jesus said in heaven there are many mansions... The poor should keep in mind that "all good things come from above."
And also, "if man doesn't work, man doesn't eat."

The same could be said of "hard Socialist" countries like China.
No religion, but The People certainly aren't better off.

Satan’s Accusation of Job
6 Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan came also among them.
7 And the Lord said unto Satan, Whence comest thou? Then Satan answered the Lord, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it.
8 And the Lord said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil?
9 Then Satan answered the Lord, and said, Doth Job fear God for nought?
10 Hast not thou made an hedge about him, and about his house, and about all that he hath on every side? thou hast blessed the work of his hands, and his substance is increased in the land.
11 But put forth thine hand now, and touch all that he hath, and he will curse thee to thy face.
Satan’s Additional Charge
2 Again there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan came also among them to present himself before the Lord.
2 And the Lord said unto Satan, From whence comest thou? And Satan answered the Lord, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it.
3 And the Lord said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil? and still he holdeth fast his integrity, although thou movedst me against him, to destroy him without cause.
4 And Satan answered the Lord, and said, Skin for skin, yea, all that a man hath will he give for his life.
5 But put forth thine hand now, and touch his bone and his flesh, and he will curse thee to thy face.
Job’s Integrity in Suffering
7 So went Satan forth from the presence of the Lord, and smote Job with sore boils from the sole of his foot unto his crown.
8 And he took him a potsherd to scrape himself withal; and he sat down among the ashes.
9 Then said his wife unto him, Dost thou still retain thine integrity? curse God, and die.
10 But he said unto her, Thou speakest as one of the foolish women speaketh. What? shall we receive good at the hand of God, and shall we not receive evil? In all this did not Job sin with his lips.Source(s): Job 1,2

If you have everything in this life, then there is no reason to want to pray for anything and be your best for the next life. When you are more worried about the afterlife than the current life, then you can put up with being poor, and may even give your life to defend your religion.
