Supposing we're dealing with the complete combustion of butane (or at least some reaction where all the carbon in the butane is converted to carbon dioxide and there is not other source of carbon):
2 C4H10 + 13 O2 → 8 CO2 + 10 H2O
(88.4 g CO2) / (44.00964 g CO2/mol) x (2 mol C4H10 / 8 mol CO2) x
(58.1222 g C4H10/mol) = 29.2 g C4H10
