Does a broken nose affect weight gain or weight loss?

    On that alone no.... but with other factors possibly. 

    I am healing from a broken nose and have dropped 15lbs in the last month, but other injuries contributed to that too.

    It could cause breathing problems but relating a broken nose to weight, I can't stretch my imagination far enough DJ.

    Yes it does your nose  is about 25 percent of your weight. If you brake it it is scientifically proven that your weight get heavier for all the stress of the situation.

    It won’t, but you might have trouble breathing out of it for a few days. It may even need surgery if it’s bad enough.

    If it's messing with your appetite it certainly could. Perhaps you feel uncomfortable eating.
