What do you eat/drink before workout for energy?

It doesn't matter what anyone here eats/drinks (and questions about the users are chat violations, FYI). If you want to know what YOU should eat before a workout, you'll have to figure out what works for you. If you're going to eat something 1 hr or less before your workout make it small and avoid something high in fat. Maybe a banana or half a sandwich or a small nutrition bar. Everyone has different things they prefer and different things they avoid (right before a workout). Some people prefer to workout on an empty stomach (and that's fine too).

I used to use preworkout. Now I just chug a protein shake and maybe a peanut butter sandwich. No jelly.
