Do British people love capitalism  ?

    A balanced Capitalism, where we also give to those that need it most, so not true Capitalism, a more 'watered down version'.  Though of course if you come from the wealthy elite, you can get away with paying your Corporation Tax, by leaping through the 'loopholes'.

    Not unfettered capitalism.  There has to be a feeling for the greater good, a drive for commerce to serve the needs of the people.  The Empire was built on trade (and winning wars) after all.

    By American standards, they are commie socialists because they have healthcare and welfare. By sane standards, yes, capitalism was invented in Great Britain by Adam Smith.

    we generally look down on it.

    the only exception is if it's making us rich.
