Is it normal for have a stuffy nose after 5 weeks of quitting chewing tobacco?

I quit chewing tobacco 35 days ago. I chewed a can a day for almost 10 years. Most of my withdrawal symptoms have gone away, but the one thing that doesn’t is this stuffy nose. It goes back and forth in intensity from really stuffy to not so bad. Sometimes it switches from one nostril to the next or both. Is this normal? How long did it last for you? I feel like I’m never going to be normal again

I seriously doubt that has anything to do with tobacco use. If that were from withdrawal, it wouldn't last more than a week or two. Sounds more like common allergies. Try a decongestant like pseudoephedrine when you're clogged up and take an anti-allergin (Claritin, Zyrtec) daily to prevent it.
