Song name help?

So I've heard the song on the radio on throw back stations and I know it is for sure a rap/hip hop song from either the 90s/early 2000s era. I believe the song chorus has either "borrowed" lyrics or a "borrowed" beat (like how Melanie Martinez uses the lyrics from It's My Party by Lesley Gore). The only part I can remember is a snippet from the end of the chorus which goes something along the lines of "we can give love (make love?) to each other uh uhhh". That part is sung by a woman and the rest of the song is by a man. It was a more known song back in the day and it is killing me that I can't remember the chorus because google isn't helping.
