That depends on when you want to travel.A combination of Spirit and Frontier connecting in Denver can be the cheapest but it's a long trip that way. Alaska or Delta Airlines are often the cheapest direct flights. An Amtrak train is cheaper than a direct flight.

I'm not going to do your research and with Covid I really have no idea what is what. But Southwest tends to be the bargain carrier for the region and those sorts of mid range flights. As was said, the travel sites will have lots of data in one place, which is convenient sometimes. They won't be any cheaper.

The prices are what they are.  The only way to get better deals is to plan ahead, adjust your dates and or be flexible and fly into a nearby airport.  Any website that purports to give you airfare discounts is a scam.  The airline sets the prices of the airfare and any travel agent gets a tiny commission so there's literally no incentive and they actually can't sell for less than what the airline has set the prices.

Why would you want "ideas" when you can get FACTS very easily by looking at airline booking websites?
