=10 - 48i + 32i^2

=10 - 48i - 32 note i^2 = - 1

10 - 8i - 40i + 32i^2 = 10 - 48i - 32 = -22 - 48i

= 10 - 8i - 40i + 32i^2 ... just like expanding the product of binomials

= 10 - 48i + 32(-1)

= -22 - 48i <<< answer
