Are Democrats planning to invalidate the election results so that a Democrat will be put in the White House until "this mess is cleared up"?

Post office has been downsizing for years, long before Trump took office. The mailbox I notice is gone (on Camino de los Mares) has been gone for years.

Why do democrats have to invalidate anything? Don’t you believe in our election process? It is also part of our constitutional process or didn’t you know that?

News flash,  NO ONE has a term that gets automatically extended.  NO ONE.   So if we do not successfully elect a new president come Jan 20th we will have NO president.   Trump does not get to stay,   Pense does not move up,  Nancy can not take over,   we have nothing.    Biden is going to win and he will become president on Jan 20th.

You are correct to say that some of the downsizing has been gone on for years--but that's not what is potentially affecting the election.

What is affecting it are recent changes, such as forbidding overtime, removing sorting machines that process thousands of letters daily, and selective removal of mailboxes in critical voting areas, as well as trying to forbid mail-in voting.  It's no coincidence that the Postmaster General is a friend of Trump and donates to his campaign.

Why are conservatives scared of people actually voting during an election?

Trump is the only person who has suggested cancelling the election.

Nobody else is that stupid to even think it was possible.
