Why are brexiters so grumpy these days?
We have left the EU,but they still rattle on about the EU.Don't they know we have left?
Hey there @ Kenny II. I see that SD has posted a photo. You must be the one with the Afghan greyhound hair-do that's propping-up the Union-Jack and wearing sun-glass. Was the photo take outside your residential nursing-home? And the name's Paddy, not Michael.
The prominent brx'ers have a big problem: And that's the withdraw agreement. Bojo and his cronies would really like to renegotiate: but, the EU say no because its has been ratified by both the EU's and the UK's parliament and is now an international-treaty. Reneging on it, would cause an international incident. They have well and truly screwed themselves.Well, brx'ers are not the sharpest tool in the box.
Tot Tot Kenny II. Get your carer to give you your medicine, tout de suite.Trying to tell me that you're not grey? See what I mean about grumpy old brx'ers !! And the name's still Paddy.
@Anonymous "Why? Because it was not democratic." Yes, but you have an understanding of democracy, that many Brits don't have. Some really think that 2,4% is a qualifying majority, many don't know that 2.4% is a simple majority. You do know but, many don't.

They won! They need to get over it!
They would rather see the country collapse into chaos than admit they got it wrong.

Some Brexiteers voted leave for irrational reasons. They need something to hate/blame for all their problems and they fail at taking responsibility.
They will continue to blame the EU long after we've left at the end of the year and they figure that out that life isn't peaches and honey.

Possibly because their 'I knew what I was voting for' argument is unravelling before their beady. bloodshot eyes.

Racists usually are angry people. Now they’ve won the referendum they have no one to fight against so they are looking for something else. Irony is they’d have been better off if we stayed in Europe as it would make it much easier to keep their feud going.

Why? Because it was not democratic.
A NON-binding referendum, won by not even 4% is just ridiculous to call as a "democratic" vote.
In other countries, decisions like this has to be won by 2/3 otherwise it's not valid, and there are countries where the turnout has to be 75% for decisions like this to consider it valid.
And the non-binding stuff is still there.
But I'm not grumpy, couldn't care less. Next year leaving this forsaken island for good.

We haven't really left until November.

They are grumpy becasue that haven't been able to fulfil, any of their lying premises. Ranting on about: EU states that are in an economic mess. What interest does that have to a country, that's no longer a member?
Is it because they are so ill-informed about the totally out of control economic mess in the UK?
Can they only see the splinter in the eye of the EU and not the beam in their own eye? In the same-way that they can't see, the cliff's edge
"Meanwhile they are still bleeding us dry like leeches" For those that would like this sentence translated: Meanwhile, like leeches, they are still bleeding us dry.

Technically we won't have left till December this year, at this stage their tying up loose ends, making sure that current Laws are written up and 'set in stone'. To be fair Covoid has affected our Economy more than our leaving the EU. However, even without Covoid it's apparent to most people that Brexit was really about people not wanting Europeans coming here for work. Yet those same people thinks it's ok to move to Spain for the sunshine!

Because it's been a disaster, Brexit has given us the worst government in UK history, we now have the worst recession and covid death rate in Europe, absolutely every economist anywhere says leaving the EU will dent out economy further, the whole thing has proven to be a racist fantasy and it's made them very angry people, although they still insist on going through with it for no other reason than to save face

We won't officially leave until December. Meanwhile they are still bleeding us dry like leeches.
