The Room by The Durutti Column-It's about someone just about to be Executed (I suppose who would be pretty sad and anxious at this point)
I'm sorry @Dominique I have to disagree with The Smiths they've written 2 of the most beautiful love songs ever in ''Hand in Glove'' and ''There is a Light that Never Goes Out'' Has for the rest of their back catalogue I find some of them hilarious(I guess you had to grow up in the North of England to get the humour though).''But you know where you came from, you know where you're going and you know where you belong'' a Smiths quote for you there. You fantastic people.
@Dominique thanks for the response you're right Morrissey was often morbid and pessimistic. It's just the word 'Sad' in the 20th century we used sad to mean 'Naff, boring and crap. haha.
btw your other choices spot on. You know Music.

Also, most (if not all) songs by The Smiths and Elliott Smith are sad.
@Just John: I agree that not all of The Smiths songs are sad, but I think most of them at least sound sad. I was thinking more about Elliott Smith possibly being 100% sad, but I was too lazy to break it down into two sentences. Now I've put more work into it... lol
