Can a rich man like Bill Gates buy a civilian version of the F-18 Super Hornet and land it on the USS Nimitz?

No.   They are not going to take a chance of a strange plane trying to land on a carrier.   They will shoot it down first.

Ah, you are talking about the F-52 that Trump wants to sell to Normay.  Yeah sure, why not.

    1. There is no civilian version of the F-18.

    2. Civilians can't buy military aircraft that are currently in use by the U.S military, such as the F-18. They may buy retired military aircraft, though.

    3. Let's say that Bill Gates were to buy a retired military aircraft. He would NOT be allowed to land it on any aircraft carrier.

    4. Not only would he not be allowed, but he would probably crash or be very unsuccessful trying, since he wouldn't have the training needed to land on a carrier.

Does Mummy know her half wit kid is playing on her Laptop which she paid for by servicing loads of men.

And when she has finished servicing her male clients she will get your father  to give you one heck of a whooping assuming she can remember which of her many male clients he is!

No, and that is a profoundly childish thing to ask.

No civilian (no matter how rich he is) will be allowed to land his own private plane (no matter what kind of plane it is)  on any U.S. Navy aircraft carrier.  Only military aircraft  and military pilots are allowed to land on Navy ships.

In case of dire emergency, i suppose, Bill Gates  could try to land his plane on the deck of an aircraft carrier, but he would probably crash his plane trying to do so because he wouldn't know HOW to do it.  Landing a plane on the deck of a moving aircraft carrier is NOTHING like trying to land an aircraft on a runway on dry land.

Besides, a civilian version of an F-18 Super Hornet  probably wouldn't have a tail hook on it. Without a tail hook to "catch" the plane and bring it to a sudden stop it,  the plane would just keep on rolling down the deck at full speed, until it rolled down the full length of the ship and into the water  .

I don't think Bill Gates has enough experience landing a plane on an aircraft carrier to know what to do if he got a "wave off" from the landing crew if the tail hook didn't catch the landing cable that is stretched across the deck of a carrier.

He might be able to buy, but he cant Fly unless certified. Unless he has good friends hi up in the USN, no civilian  can land on a military craft .He can ride passenger if active duty military fly him and They are cleared to land on the CVA.
