Why do I become narrow-minded when I'm stressed?
Most people become hyperactive, twitchy, jumpy, etc, but whenever I'm stressed, I become more narrow-minded and don't necessarily have anything on my mind. It's sort of like being stressed but without knowing it. Why is this?

Stress is about preparing the body, not the mind. It's fight or flight reaction. Your heart beats faster, it sends more blood to the muscles, you breath faster to send oxygen to the muscles. It's hard to focus with all that going on. Stress is for dealing with an immediate danger when calm reflection is not an option.
