what is the difference between white brain matter and grey brain matter?

    "Gray matter" is mostly neuron cell bodies.  "White matter" is mostly myelinated axon processes.

    "Gray matter" is mostly the outer part of the central nervous system.  "White matter" is mostly on the inside of the central nervous system.

    grey brain matter is more abundent in men , it is responsible for picture thinking and ideas as a whole , as opposed to details and audial thinking.
