Could this be a possible employer scam?

During the interview she said I dont have to pay for anything. Why would that even be mentioned in a job interview?

Some places require you to buy a uniform.

Maybe it just means you get free parking, free food and beverage while at work, and the company pays 100% of the cost of your benefits. [This is common in flourishing tech companies.] I dout it is a scam.

Some companies ask employees to pay for uniforms, equipment, and so on.

If they are willing to pay for everything, then that is good.

They may just want to encourage people to sign up.   "You join our company and you will receive $35/hr and a company car and all the coffee you can drink...  Sign up now , please"
