Why is my cat being mean to his sibling all of a sudden?
Our female cat, Rosie had to recently get her shots, she was at the vet for literally an hour and when we brought her home her brother started smelling the carrier and he’s been hissing and growling at her since and he never hisses or growls and it’s been 2 1/2 days, is it the vet smell? What should we do in this situation?

Every house has its own smell, so being at the vet changed the smell of your cat from being in the office and touched by the vet. Her smell will probably go back to normal soon

Yes the VET smell is confusing things.
Let her out and remove the carrier to storage. Hold her if you can wrapped in a well used towel or garment for a while.
Next time put a well used towel, or garment, in the carrier to mitigate the smell.
He does not recognize her, by smell.
That is also why Dogs attack mail carriers and delivery persons. The odor is too many different identities.
