Native English speakers, could you please help me with these issues?

1. If someone is going out on her first walk after an injury, which of these verbs would be appriate:

a) "Don't STRAIN too much; just walk slowly all the way."

b) "Don't STRUGGLE too much; just walk slowly all the way."

c) "Don't STRIVE too much; just walk slowly all the way."

2. In the event all can be used, which do you think is the most appropriate?

    Stride ..... Or strain yourself too much.

    b) maybe

    a) next, but it is a marginal choice after b)

    c) is the wrong word.

    None of the three are particularly suitable.

    The best words would be "don't try too hard,...etc"
