Give IUPAC for the following compound =?

Strategy:

Remember from your notes that;

If the molecule is disubstituted but does not have a parent name like toluene or benzaldehyde, then number the two substituents giving lowest number for the molecule with initial letter that comes first in the alphabet.

This molecule is not either toluene, phenol, aniline, acetophenone, benzaldehyde, or benzoic acid. It has Bromine and Propyl groups. B comes first in the alphabet.

Then remember,

An oath disubstituted benzene has two substituents in a 1,2 relationship.

A meta disubstituted benzene has two substituents in a 1,3 relationship.

A para disubstituted benzene has two substituents in a 1,4 relationship.
