    It depends on where and what you want to teach.  Different online programs have different requirements of their instructors.

    Preferably you have a degree in the relevant discipline, be patient and prepare all the notes.

    That depends partly on what you're teaching. I know teachers who are now having to change to online teaching because of the virus. Many of them can't seem to get away from the idea that "talking at" students is the only way to educate them. We know, in fact, that lecturing is the LEAST effective way to educate. An online teacher has to have some pedagogical knowledge, to know how to structure assignments and assign tasks that will result in real learning, not just memorization or surface level learning.

    It requires you to be smart enough in the field you are trying to. teach in also also university skills and people willing to learn from home
