How come every time I hear the song, I hear "How can you have any pudding if you don't clean your feet."?

I know it is supposed to be "How can you have any pudding if you don't eat your meat" but apparently I am not the only one who hear "clean your feet" instead of "eat your meat." Why would kids in a playground be eating meat. You can hear them playing and they may need to clean their feet or shoes before going back to the classroom, correct?
